Robotics Mentorship & Curriculum Development
Developed and implemented comprehensive robotics curriculum for 100+ students across multiple programs. As Lead Staff at Tech X Robotics, created optimized learning workflows preparing students for competitive seasons. All coached teams advanced to World Championships.
Overview
Worked with 100+ Orchard Hills Middle School students to prepare for the Vex Robotics Competition season. Facilitated scrimmages and traveled to signature events and world championships to assist students. Also worked with Tech X Robotics to develop a curriculum for students to learn robotics and prepare for the competitive season. During my personal competitive season, I frequently visited local middle and high schools to help students learn foundational skills for VEX robotics.
Problem
The main problem I faced was that many students were not familiar with the basics of robotics and did not have the necessary skills to compete at a high level. I also faced the challenge of creating a curriculum that was both comprehensive and engaging for students.
Solution
I created a curriculum that was both comprehensive and engaging for students. I also traveled to local middle and high schools to help students learn foundational skills for VEX robotics.
